We lived in many places and Kristin became known to her friends by different names each time we moved. She was Krissie as a baby and young child in LaGrange and Carmel. She was Kris as she neared her teens and entered Jr High School in Naperville. She became Nell in High School and after graduation in Mequon and Milwaukee. She became Miss Nell when she moved to Wausau and worked as teacher for toddlers at a Montessori school. She loved her little friends very much.
The following link is a MS Word document that describes "Miss Nell" and a Montessori scholarship fund we set up in her name. She would be very proud of this scholarship fund because she was always concerned about the little children who couldn't afford to enroll in the school and join them when they would take their daily walks to learn and enjoy nature.
